If I ever start dating at some point, I will run in the opposite direction if I notice an early fixation on money. Talking about money because you’re really into investing and budgeting yourself and want to tell me about it too is fine. Asking me how much I make, how much I will make, and what assets I have on the first date is not cool.

I have an acquaintance who is beautiful and smart and black and she is adamant that her man has to “pay” her in some way for them to be together.
